Why You Should Choose Childcare Solutions, Inc.

  • You could spend hours, if not days and weeks searching for a nanny. That is why at Childcare Solutions, Inc., we partner with you to find the very best in experienced, qualified and professional caregivers.
  • We take the time to understand your needs. Each family who works with Childcare Solutions, Inc. Completes a family questionnaire. This detailed set of questions enables the placement coordinator to understand your criteria and indivudual needs. It also allows us to get to know your family.
  • We will counsel you on nanny qualifications, job description, nanny compensation, and much more. You can rest assured that we are available to answer any questions or to help you in any way. In fact, your personal Placement Coordinator will take you through every step of the nanny search process…from beginning to middle to end.

Our screening process of nanny candidates is thorough and includes:

  • An initial telephone screening that includes verification of:
    1. Documented childcare experience
    2. At least 18 years of age
    3. Valid drivers license
    4. Legal right to work in the U.S.
    5. Reliable and insured vehicle
    6. Genuine love of children
  • A written application and a personal interview that can last up to three hours.
  • Statewide, criminal records check on each applicant, along with a Child Abuse and neglect screening through the Division of Family Services in Missouri or the Department of Children and Family Services in Illinois.
  • Any applicant, who has lived outside of their current state of residence, within the last five years, will also be screened in the county of the state in which they previously resided.
  • A current physical exam, T.B. skin test and CPR certification (if not current) can be required within the first month of employment at the employer’s request.
  • Names and telephone numbers of a permanent nanny’s references will be provided for the families to have the opportunity to speak with these families personally. Ask us about our agency’s philosophy on reference retrieval of permanent candidates. References will be retrieved and documented by the agency on all temporary nannies.*
  • Additional screenings are available upon your request.
